Nick started his career in financial planning in 2009 after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and applied statistics. He is responsible for internal financial planning and portfolio management at Equilibrium Wealth Advisors. Nick enjoys spending much of his time alongside Fidelity’s wealth management research team building and implementing individualized proposals for each of our clients. He further contributes to EWA’s expertise by researching financial planning strategies including tax, estate and retirement law to ensure clients’ portfolios are always updated for maximum efficiency.
Nick has invested in his professional growth, and consequently the growth of the firm, by gaining several designations and licenses. He is a Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. He holds the Series 66 and Series 9/10 licenses as well as the Life, Accident and Health license in the state of Pennsylvania.
Originally from Hanover, Nick moved to Pittsburgh to attend the University of Pittsburgh in 2005. We are glad he stayed in the area! Nick and his wife Cara reside in Green Tree and spend much of their free time doing outdoor activities around the city, including hiking, biking and kayaking.
Nick competes for the “cat person” role in our office, describes himself as “zesty” (we agree!), loves to golf, and keeps a bobble head of himself on his desk. The team fittingly compares him to Michael Scott from “The Office.”
