At EWA, we’re proud of the deep relationships we build with clients and the trust we earn by putting their financial goals first. To further support transparency and trust, we’ve implemented a verified ratings and reviews program. Below, we outline how feedback is collected and the standards we use to determine what is published on our site.
Why We Publish Reviews
Choosing a financial advisor is a major decision. We want to make that process more transparent by sharing real client feedback. Our goal is twofold: to continuously improve based on client insights and to give prospective clients a clearer picture of what working with EWA is like.
Verified Reviews – How We Collect Feedback
We’ve partnered with Amplify Reviews to take collected feedback from current clients only to publish on our website. Clients are invited to participate through an email feedback request. No client is compensated for providing feedback and there are no material conflicts of interest affecting responses.
Each review reflects an individual’s experience and is not necessarily representative of all client experiences. These testimonials do not guarantee future performance or outcomes.
Ratings
All ratings are included in the calculation of our average rating. Regardless of the comments/reviews from a given survey, the quantitative rating is included in the overall average rating that is displayed on our website. In other words, 100% of survey responses are included when calculating the overall average rating that we display on our website, and ratings are automatically updated when new survey responses are processed.
Comments/Reviews
We are committed to publishing feedback from clients regardless of sentiment. In other words, we will not “cherry pick” only favorable reviews. However, to protect privacy and comply with regulatory standards, some comments may not be eligible for publication.
Each comment is reviewed based on specific exclusion criteria. Eligible comments are then published as-is, without edits. These testimonials should not be interpreted as guarantees of results or performance.
Exclusion Criteria
Comments will not be published if they include any of the following:

Libelous, abusive, profane, racist, discriminatory, or aggressive language

Personally identifiable information that could reveal the reviewer’s identity

Uninterpretable statements
- Comments determined to have been left by a non-client

Feedback solely about the survey tool itself

SEC Compliance
As investment adviser testimonials are considered advertisements by the SEC, any published review must also comply with SEC general prohibitions. Under the general prohibitions, an advertisement may not:
- include an untrue statement of a material fact, or omit to state a material fact necessary to make the statement made, in light of the circumstances under which it was made, not misleading;
- include a material statement of fact that the adviser does not have a reasonable basis for believing it will be able to substantiate upon demand by the Commission;
- include information that would reasonably be likely to cause an untrue or misleading implication or inference to be drawn concerning a material fact relating to the adviser;
- discuss any potential benefits without providing fair and balanced treatment of any associated material risks or limitations;
- reference specific investment advice provided by the adviser that is not presented in a fair and balanced manner; include or exclude performance results, or presenting performance time periods, in a manner that is not fair and balanced; and
- otherwise be materially misleading.
